Welcome, fam.
This is a little revamp on my website. The older version of my blog was a little more “hush-hush”. I was extremely proper and I feel like I’d be tiptoeing around topics trying to “act accordingly.” It was full blown imposter syndrome on my social media, and honestly, I got tired of it really quick. So this is me, unfiltered, true personality, raw, powerful emotions. I tried to tread on the line of neutrality between so many conflicting topics. I tried to please everyone in a way where I was extremely vague. I definitely found myself defending my own point of views, my own feelings, and my experiences. WHY? Honestly, I have no idea why. These are my experiences, these are my thoughts, and I shouldn’t have to sit here and defend myself to the wrath of the interwebs in fear of being judged by anyone. Whether we’re e-buds, work associates, friends, or even family - I am going to live my truth now. I have been weighted down by so many standards and expectations before, and now the only people I’m living for is me and my family, especially my baby M. I hope you enjoy this unfiltered version of me and I hope you stick around. Because honestly, I’m a bad ass friend and I’m loyal as hell. I will back you up. I will love you through all your troubles. And I will be one of the first people to help pull you back up. So let’s get to it, y’all.
